Aashita International

Aashita International is up on the fourth floor of Himadri-Ii. If you are walking down Old High Court Lane in Navrangpura, you will see the building. It’s an older part of Ahmedabad, so the streets can be narrow and a bit packed with scooters. Our office, room 404, is where we handle the international side of the business. It’s usually quiet inside, except for the hum of the computers. We’ve got a view of the other buildings from the window, which isn't much, but it’s fine. Navrangpura is a good spot because everything is close by, from the shops to the small cafes. We spend most of the morning answering messages from people in different time zones. It can get quite hot in the afternoons, but that is just Ahmedabad for you. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just basic international trade work and making sure the paperwork is right. Sometimes the lift in Himadri-Ii acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which is a bit of a workout. The people around here are mostly regulars who have been in these lanes for years. We don't have a big team, just a few people who know how things work. It’s a simple setup. We like it because it’s central and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of this lane. We just keep our heads down and get the work done without making a big fuss about things or pretending to be something we aren't.
