A-One Grinding Works

Our shop, A-One Grinding Works, is down in Amraiwadi at the Manilal Mukhi Estate. We are at 6/1, which is right near the Gayatri Mandir. Being near NH 8 makes it easy for trucks to get in and out, though the traffic can be a real headache some afternoons. The estate is always noisy with different workshops doing their thing. We do a lot of grinding here. There is always metal dust around and the machines make a steady hum all day long. It is physical work and we get our hands dirty every single day. We have been in this spot for a long time. The temple nearby is a good landmark if you are trying to find the place for the first time. We just focus on the jobs that come in. Some days it is small parts and other days it is much larger pieces that take a lot of time to get right. We don't have a front office or anything like that. It is just the workshop floor and our tools. Most of the guys here have been doing this for years so they know the machines well. It can get pretty hot in the summer with the roof and the machinery running, but we just keep at it. It is a basic setup but it works for what we do. We like being part of the local Amraiwadi industrial community and seeing the work go out the door.
