Z P School Vanvaipada

We are situated right on the Bye Pass Road in Sikandra, Agra. Being near the highway means it is always a bit loud with trucks and cars going past. The school is known as Z P School Vanvaipada. It is a government-run place, so it is very basic. We have a few rooms that serve as classrooms and the furniture is quite old. The building itself has some cracks here and there, but it stays standing. We don't have air conditioning or anything fancy like that. When it rains, the yard gets a bit muddy and we have to be careful about where we walk. The kids come from the local families in the Vanvaipada area. We have a small staff of teachers who travel here every day to do their work. We focus on the main subjects like language and math. There are no big sports facilities or music rooms. We just use the space we have to teach the children what they need to know. Sometimes we run low on supplies like chalk or paper, and we just have to manage until more arrives. It is a very simple environment for learning. We don't have a website or any promotional materials. We just provide a service to the community and try to keep the kids focused on their books. The daily routine is what keeps us going, from the morning bell to the time everyone goes home in the afternoon. We see the same faces every day and it is just a part of the local life here in Sikandra.
