Z P Primary School Yamgarwasti Goradwadi

If you’re heading out towards Kitham or Achnera, you’ll find us tucked away in the Yamgarwasti Goradwadi area. Z P Primary School here is basically the heart of this small community near Kiraoli. The road from Agra can be a bit of a trek, but we’re used to it by now. The school is right there in the village, so we’re surrounded by fields and the usual sounds of rural life. Most of the kids come from the nearby houses in Vill Post Kitham. It’s a small operation, really. We spend our time trying to keep the classrooms tidy and making sure the children are actually sitting down and paying attention. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the playground is mostly just hard dirt, but it works for us. We don’t have much in the way of high-tech gear, just the standard books and a few supplies we’ve managed to keep over the years. Some days are louder than others, especially when the wind picks up or there’s a festival nearby in Achnera. We just take it one day at a time, teaching the basics and making sure everyone is safe. It’s a lot of work, but it’s what we do. People around here depend on this school, so we try our best to keep the doors open and the lessons going.
