Sonam Suits

Sonam Suits is out in LAWYERS COLONY, right near the NH2 highway in AGRA. Since we are so close to the highway, there is always the sound of trucks and buses roaring past. It gets a bit dusty because of all that traffic, so we have to wipe down the counters and the racks several times a day. Being in LAWYERS COLONY means we get a lot of people who work in the courts nearby. They usually stop in during their lunch breaks or after they finish for the day. The shop itself is simple. We have bundles of suits stacked up, and we try to keep them organized by color, though that doesn't always last through a busy afternoon. There is a small sitting area with a couple of plastic chairs where people can sit while they look at fabrics. We don't have any air conditioning, just a big ceiling fan that wobbles a little when it's on high speed. We’ve been running Sonam Suits for a while now as a family thing. Everyone helps out with the lifting and the selling. We write our prices on little stickers and put them on the bags. Sometimes we forget to update them, but we usually remember what everything costs. It’s a straightforward shop in a busy part of AGRA, and we just keep it going day by day.
