You can find us at Jain House, which is right near the Jain Temple in Chhipitola. It is an old part of the city, and our building has been standing here for a very long time. The street outside is quite narrow, so it is always a bit of a squeeze when people are coming and going with their bags. We handle things in a very traditional way around here, mostly because that is how it has always been done by the family. There is a lot of history in these old walls, and you can really feel it when you walk inside the main room. We do not use a lot of fancy technology or computers; we still do a lot of things by hand and keep our records in those thick, hand-written ledgers. It is a steady pace of work, and we do not feel the need to rush through things just because the rest of the world is moving so fast lately. Being so close to the temple means we hear the bells and the prayers throughout the day, which makes for a nice, calm atmosphere to work in. We see a lot of the same faces every single week, mostly people who have been coming to us for years and years. We just keep the place tidy and make sure everything is where it should be on the shelves. It is not a big corporate operation, just a local business that fits into the Chhipitola neighborhood.
