Leela Vastram

Leela Vastram is our little shop over in Shanti City Center. You can find us on Bhagirathi Devi Marg in the Khandari area. It’s a busy spot with a lot of people coming and going for their daily shopping. We keep a variety of clothes in stock, mostly stuff people need for everyday wear or for family functions. The shop isn't huge, so we have to stack things up high sometimes. We spend most of our day folding clothes, helping people find the right size, and chatting with the regulars who live around Khandari. It gets quite crowded on weekends, and the noise from the street outside is always there. We try to keep the racks organized, but once a few customers start looking through things, it gets messy pretty fast. That's just how it is. My family helps out with the business, so you’ll usually see one of us behind the counter. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It's just a regular store with decent clothes. Sometimes we get new stock in and have to move everything around to make room. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us busy. People come to us because we’ve been here in the city center for a while and they know what to expect when they walk in. We just keep things simple and try to help everyone who walks through the door. It’s a small operation but we like being part of the neighborhood.
