Sng Marble Handicrafts

We are located at Shop No. B100 in Bhagwan Nagar, right near the Gurudwara in Balkeshwar. The shop is usually full of dust because that is just how it goes when you work with marble every day. Most of the time, you will find us out back or near the entrance, cutting and polishing different pieces by hand. It is not quiet work. The noise from the machines and the nearby street is just part of the day here. We have been in this spot for a good while, and most people around know where we are. We handle a lot of small handicrafts and bigger items too, depending on what stone we have available. The floor is almost always covered in white powder, and our clothes usually look the same way by lunchtime. People stop by on their way to the Gurudwara sometimes just to see what is new. We don’t have any fancy displays or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait, or we just do the manual sanding while we wait for the lights to come back on. It is a simple life here in Balkeshwar. We just focus on the stone and making sure the shapes look okay. If you are looking for us, look for the shop with all the marble pieces sitting out front near the road. We stay open until it gets dark usually.
