Our office for Singhania Exports is over in Friends Tower, which is at 41/4-b/5 in Sanjay Place. Sanjay Place is a pretty central spot in the city, so there are always people moving around the building and cars everywhere. We are located in the tower, and it’s a typical professional setting but without all the fancy corporate stuffiness you see in bigger cities. We handle exports, so a lot of our time is spent on the phone or on the computer, tracking shipments and talking to suppliers across the region. The office is often a bit cluttered with samples, fabric swatches, and files, but we know exactly where everything is. Friends Tower has been our home for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the daily rhythm of the place. We have a small, dedicated team here, and we mostly just focus on getting the day's tasks done without too much fuss. It’s not the kind of place where we have big meetings every hour; we just talk across the desks to get things sorted. Sometimes we go downstairs for a quick break or to grab a snack when the sun is out and the market is busy. Being in Sanjay Place means everything we need is close by, which is very handy for a business like ours. We don't really do much in terms of self-promotion; we just rely on the work we’ve done over the years. We keep the operations straightforward and try to stay on top of the export rules that change.
