Naividyam

Our little shop is number five, tucked into Freedom Plaza here in Sikandra. It is a bit different being on the ground level compared to the places upstairs. We are right in that busy pocket of Agra near the post office and the Sector-10 Avas Vikas Colony. It gets quite a bit of foot traffic because of the colony nearby. I spend a lot of my time just standing near the door or organizing things on the shelves. It’s not a very big space, so we have to be careful about where we put everything so people don't trip. The area around here is always active with people heading to the post office or just walking through the plaza. Sometimes the heat in Agra gets to be a bit much, but we just keep the fan going and get on with it. We don't really do much fancy talk about what we do. It is just a shop and we are here every day to open up and wait for customers. Most of the folks who stop by are from the neighborhood, so we see the same faces every week. It’s nice to have that routine. We keep things simple and try to make sure the place looks decent enough. There is always some dust blowing in from the road, so cleaning is a never-ending job, but that is just how it is around here. It is just us doing our thing every day.
