Manita Garments

We are over at Madhupura Market on the first floor. It is room I/15 if you are looking for us. Being right near the Police Commissioner Office in Shahibaug makes it pretty easy for folks to find the spot without getting lost. Most days here start early with the metal shutter going up. We handle a lot of garment work in this space. It gets a bit crowded with rolls of cloth and finished pieces stacked up near the windows. The staff knows the rhythm of the place. We have been in this market for a while now. Shahibaug is usually busy, so there is always noise from the street coming up to our floor. Sometimes the fans are clicking away while everyone is busy at their stations. It is not a fancy office with big glass walls or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we get things done. We deal with various types of clothing items and the floor is usually covered in bits of thread by the end of the afternoon. People stop by, sometimes for orders or just to check on how things are going. We keep the doors open mostly to let some air in because the market gets quite hot during the summer months. It is a practical setup. We have the usual chairs and desks, and most of the room is taken up by the stock. If you walk past the police office, you are basically there. It is just a regular local business.
