Shri Vinod Pustak Mandir

If you walk down Dr. Rangeya Raghav Marg, you will find us at 11/7. We have been selling books for a long time. Shri Vinod Pustak Mandir is one of those places where the smell of old and new paper is always in the air. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, and sometimes it is hard to find exactly what you want without asking. It is a bit dusty in the corners because we have so many titles. Students come in a lot looking for their textbooks or some specific guides for exams. We also have some general reading books, but the educational stuff is what keeps us going mostly. The shop isn't very large, so we have to stack things on the floor sometimes. It’s a bit of a maze. We don't have a computer system to track every single book, we just sort of remember where we put things. It’s worked for us for years, so we haven't changed it much. Sometimes the street gets noisy with the traffic outside, but inside it stays pretty calm. We mostly just sit behind the counter and wait for customers. We know most of the people who come in by name since they have been buying from us since they were kids. It is a decent way to spend the day, surrounded by books and talking to people. Our family has always valued this quiet corner and we just keep it going every day.
