Jayant Book Store

Jayant Book Store is over at Shop No. 90 inside the Vallabh Complex. We are right by the Bhagwan Talkies Crossing, which is a place almost everyone in town knows. Being near the Neelkanth Hotel also helps people figure out where we are. The shop itself is just one of many in the complex, but we have our own little corner. It is a bit of a walk through the hallways to get to us, but once you are here, it is quiet compared to the noise of the crossing outside. We spend the day checking the inventory and talking to whoever drops by. The light in the complex isn't the best, so we have to keep the shop lights on all day even when it is sunny outside. We have stacks of books everywhere, sometimes even on the floor when we run out of room on the shelves. It is a practical place, nothing like those big modern shops you see in the malls. We just have what we have. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a break, but mostly we are just here behind the counter. If you are near Bhagwan Talkies, you can just pop into the Vallabh Complex and find us at number 90. It is a simple setup and we have been doing this for long enough that it just feels natural. Not much changes here from year to year.
