Global Associate Agra

Our place is right in the middle of the shoe market in Sanjay Palec, Block 25, Shop 3. It’s on the fist floor, so you have to walk up those narrow stairs which can be a bit of a climb when you’re carrying heavy boxes. Global Associate Agra is what we call ourselves. Being in Agra, shoes are obviously the main thing. The shop isn’t very big, but we pack a lot into it. There’s leather smells everywhere and stacks of boxes reaching up to the ceiling. Sanjay Palec is always loud with people shouting and bikes zooming past. Sometimes it feels like the whole world is buying shoes right outside our window. We spend most of our time at Shop 3 checking the soles and the stitching. It’s a lot of detail work and your eyes get tired by the end of the day. The lighting inside isn’t the best, but we know where everything is kept. We’ve been part of this market for a while and know most of the other shopkeepers around Block 25. We take our lunch breaks when we can, usually just something quick from the vendors nearby. It’s a busy life but it’s what we know. We aren't doing anything fancy, just moving shoes and making sure the orders are right before they go out. There is always someone coming in to check on a shipment or ask about a specific style of footwear that we might have hidden away.
