Japaan Shoe Factory

Japaan Shoe Factory is located at No. 8 Mini Gulmohar Enclave in Saheed Nagar. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main market areas, which we like. We’ve been making shoes here for a while now. The setup is pretty basic. We have a few rooms where the cutting and stitching happens. It’s not a massive factory like you see in the movies. It’s more of a local operation where everyone knows each other. We spend most of our time looking at leather and rubber and trying to figure out the best way to put them together. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait a bit before we can start the machines again. It’s just one of those things you get used to. We don't have a big office with air conditioning. We just have a couple of fans and some sturdy tables. Most of our customers have been buying from us for years because they know what to expect. We don't do any big promotions. We just let the work speak for itself. The neighborhood is mostly residential with a few other small workshops like ours. It’s a decent place to work. In the winter, it gets quite cold in the mornings, so we usually start with some hot tea before we get the machines running. We are just regular people making shoes and trying to do a good job every day.
