If you walk down Shamshabad Road in Agra, you’ll see the Gol Market area. It is always crowded with people shopping and bikes zooming past. We are located right there in Rajpur, near Raj Jwellers. It is a lively spot to have a coaching center. Saksham Gurukul Classes started out quite small, just a few students and a lot of hopes. We still feel like a small outfit even though we have been around for a while now. The building is an old one, typical of this part of Agra. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of pens scratching on paper and teachers explaining math or science. We don’t have fancy air conditioning in every corner, just the regular fans that we keep running all day. The students often come in after their regular school, looking a bit tired, so we try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. We aren't here to give big speeches. We just open the books and get to work. Sometimes the chai wala from the corner brings us tea and we take a ten-minute break. It’s a very local way of doing things. We know the parents, we know the kids, and we know the shops nearby. Dealing with the heat in Rajpur Chungi is part of the daily routine here. We just focus on the lessons and hope the students get what they need for their future.
