Shiksha Home Tuition

Our little office is at 37/526A1 in Chandra Nagar. Shiksha Home Tuition started because a few of us realized that kids in the neighborhood were struggling with their schoolwork and needed a bit of extra help. We don’t have a big classroom or a school building. Instead, we coordinate with teachers who go directly to people's houses. It’s more personal that way. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting parents here in Chandra Nagar to figure out what their children need. Some kids are bad at math, others need help with their reading. We just try to find the right person to help them out. It’s not a complicated business model. We aren’t trying to change the world, just trying to help a few students get better grades. Most of the people who work with us are just locals who know their subjects well. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just know that school can be tough and a little one-on-one time makes a difference. The office is usually cluttered with notebooks and schedules. We’ve been doing this for a while and most of our new students come from parents talking to each other at the park or the market. If you live nearby and your kid is falling behind, you probably know where we are. We're just here to make the learning bit a little easier for the families in our area.
