Rose Carpets

Rose Carpets is tucked away in John'S Mill 3 over in Jeoni Mandi. It’s an old industrial area, so the buildings have that heavy, brick feel to them. You can smell the history of the mill as soon as you walk through the gate. Our space is filled with heavy rolls and the scent of wool and jute. It’s not the cleanest place in the world because of all the fibers flying around, but it’s our home. We spend a lot of time moving things from one corner to another. The ceilings are high, which is good because it stays a bit cooler during the hot months in Jeoni Mandi. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit by the big doors waiting for it to come back. We don't have fancy signs or a big marketing budget. Most people find us because they’ve been coming to the mill for years. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but it’s worth the quiet. We have a small kettle in the back for making tea. The floor is mostly stone and gets pretty cold in the winter. Rose Carpets is just a simple operation. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just show up at the mill, unroll some stock, check the orders, and keep the doors open for whoever needs us. The old wooden beams overhead look strong enough to last another hundred years or more.
