Raff On The Fashion Wear

Raff On The Fashion Wear is located right opposite Gol Market over in Rajpur Chungi. It’s a decent sized shop but we always seem to run out of room for everything. The street outside is usually full of people going to the market to buy vegetables or household stuff, so we get a lot of foot traffic. I’ve been here at this spot for several years now and the neighborhood has changed quite a bit. There used to be fewer cars, but now it’s always loud with bikes zooming past. Inside the shop, it’s mostly just rows of clothes on hangers and some folded on the tables. I try to keep the glass front clean but the dust from Rajpur Chungi is constant. Sometimes the fans don't quite reach the corner where I sit, so it gets a bit warm in the afternoons. I usually have a radio playing in the background just to keep things from being too quiet when there aren't many customers around. We don't do anything fancy with the displays. I just put out what we have and people pick through it. It’s a practical business and it keeps me busy from morning until we close up at night. There’s a tea stall just a few doors down that makes the best ginger tea, and that’s usually my highlight around four o’clock. It's just a regular life running a shop here in this corner of the city.
