About Radhika Saree Collection – Fashion & Trends in Agra
I've been running Radhika Saree Collection at the Sikandra -Bodla Crossing for a while now. It’s a busy spot, mostly because of the traffic coming through the intersection. You can hear the horns all day long. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular place with a bunch of sarees stacked up on the wooden shelves. I usually spend my mornings dusting things off because the road outside kicks up a lot of dirt. It’s just me and sometimes a helper when it gets busy. People from around Sikandra come in looking for something specific, or sometimes they just want to see what’s new. I don’t really have a fancy way of showing things, I just pull the bundles down and let people feel the fabric. The lighting in here is a bit dim towards the back, but we manage. My chair is right by the door so I can see who’s coming and going. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we sit for a minute. It’s a simple way to make a living. I don’t go for those big advertisements or anything. Most folks find us just by passing the crossing or hearing about it from a neighbor. The shelves are getting a bit crowded lately because I ordered too much stock last month. It’s a bit of a mess if I’m honest, but I know where everything is kept. It's just a regular part of life here at the crossing.
