R One Men

R One Men is my shop out on Gwalior Road in the Rohota area. Being in Agra, there’s always something going on, but this part of the road is where we stay. It’s a straightforward men's salon. I started it because there weren't many places right around here for a decent haircut. We are at 282001, which is easy enough to find if you’re driving down the main road. The shop is just a single room with the basic setup. I don't believe in overcomplicating things. You come in, you sit down, I cut your hair, and you go home. That's it. Sometimes my cousin helps me out when it gets busy on the weekends. We have a bench for people to wait on and a small TV to keep them occupied. The traffic on Gwalior Road can be a bit much sometimes, so it's a nice break to come inside for a bit. I’ve known most of my customers for years. We talk about local news or just the weather while I work. It’s a small business and I’m proud of it, even if it’s not flashy. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Just the name on the front and a door that stays open most of the day. If you need a shave or a haircut, we are here in Rohota. I hope to keep it running for a long time.
