Prince Readymade Garments

Our shop, Prince Readymade Garments, is tucked away in Jain Gali over in Sikandra. It is one of those narrow lanes where everyone knows everyone else. You have to walk down the gali to find us, but we have been here long enough that most people know the way. The shop is small and can feel a bit cramped when there are more than three people inside at the same time. We have clothes stuffed into every corner because we want to make sure there is enough variety for everyone. The air in the lane does not move much, so we keep a small fan going behind the counter to stay cool. It is a very local vibe here. We do not do any big advertising or anything; we just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the regulars to show up. Sometimes we sit on the steps outside when things are quiet and talk to the other shopkeepers in Jain Gali about how business is going. The clothes we have are just normal, everyday items that people in Sikandra wear for their daily work. We do not have any fancy displays or bright lights. It is just us and our stock. Every now and then, we have to clear out the old boxes to make room for new shirts or pants that come in. It is a slow and steady kind of life. (253 words)
