Working at Partys Caterers is always a bit of a whirlwind. We are located in Durga Market, right in the Taj Ganj area of Agra. Being so close to Hotel D Surya means there is always something happening around us. Our founder spent a lot of time as a chef at the ITC Mughal, so there is a lot of kitchen experience behind what we do here. But at the end of the day, we are just a local catering team trying to get good food to people. The kitchen in Taj Ganj is where all the action happens. It gets hot and crowded, especially when we have a big order to get out, but that’s the reality of cooking for a living. We aren’t about the fancy titles or the stiff uniforms you see in big hotels. We prefer the practical side of things, making sure the spices are right and the food is served hot. Agra is a busy city with tourists and locals always moving, and we are right in the middle of it. We source a lot of our stuff from the local markets nearby because it’s easier and keeps things fresh. Most of our staff have been with us for years, so we all know each other’s habits. It’s a bit like a family business even if we aren’t all related. We just focus on the cooking and hope people enjoy the meal we prepared.
