New Mathur Vaishya Seva Sadan

Our place is located on Pachkuiya Road in the Ashok Nagar area of Agra. If you know the neighborhood, it’s a pretty busy part of the city. New Mathur Vaishya Seva Sadan is where we’ve set ourselves up. It’s a building that’s seen a lot of years, and it has that old-school feel to it. We have a few rooms that we use for different things, and it’s usually quite full of activity. People are always coming and going, especially in the afternoons. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy with the daily chores to worry about that right now. We have some wooden benches and some old fans that creak when they’re on high speed. It’s a place where people meet and talk, so it gets pretty loud sometimes. Agra is a hot city, so we try to keep the windows open to get a breeze, though that brings in the noise from Pachkuiya Road. We don’t have any big corporate systems or fancy technology. It’s mostly just ledgers and hand-written notes. We try to keep things running smoothly, even if it feels a bit chaotic on the busy days. It’s a community-centered spot and everyone seems to know everyone else. We just do our part and keep the doors open for whoever needs to stop by. It’s just how things are done here. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually go when we need to step out for a few minutes.
