Sainik Farm (A Place For Marriage & Theme Parties)

If you head down Shamshabad Road near the Nehru Enclave, you’ll find Sainik Farm right at the Ratan Vihar crossing. It’s a decent-sized place where we host marriages and those theme parties people like so much these days. We spend a lot of our time making sure the grass is cut and the gates are working right. It’s an outdoor spot, so we are always at the mercy of the weather. If it rains, we’re out there with plastic sheets trying to keep things dry. If it’s too hot, we’re making sure the fans are actually blowing cool air. We aren't trying to be the fanciest place in town, just a solid spot for people to have their functions without too much fuss. Being near the crossing makes it easy for guests to find us, which is a plus. We have some regular staff who have been with us for years, and we all just pitch in. One day I might be checking the electrical wiring and the next I’m helping a decorator hang lights from the trees. It’s hands-on work. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. People usually just stop by because they saw a party happening while they were driving past on Shamshabad Road. We just keep the place tidy and wait for the next booking to come in. It’s steady work and we like seeing families happy.
