Om Shree Ganesh Steel

We are located right by the Nagar Nigam Rain Basera at Company Bagh. Om Shree Ganesh Steel is pretty much in the middle of all the chaos near Bijli Ghar. The Agra Road is always jammed with rickshaws and carts, so getting things delivered can be a bit of a headache. We deal in steel, so there’s a lot of heavy lifting involved. Our yard is full of rods, bars, and sheets. You have to watch your step so you don’t trip over a stray piece of rebar. The guys here are used to the weight, but it still takes a toll on your back by the end of the week. We don't have a big corporate team. It’s just a few of us making sure orders go out to the local builders. The office is just a small room with a desk and some old chairs where we sit to drink chai. During the monsoon, the ground gets muddy and the steel gets slippery, which makes everything twice as hard. We don't put on any acts for customers. If we’re busy, we’re busy. People come to us because we are right here on the road and they can see exactly what’s in the pile. It’s noisy, dusty, and sometimes a bit disorganized, but that’s just how a steel yard in a busy part of town works. We close up when the sun goes down and start again tomorrow.
