Indian Steel Industries

If you walk through Rakab Ganj, you’ll find us easily enough. Indian Steel Industries has been part of this neighborhood for a long time. It’s a crowded area, full of shops and people moving around, which we like. Our space is filled with steel rods and plates, and there isn't much room for anything else. We don’t have a website or any of that modern stuff. Usually, someone just yells from the front when they need a price on something. It’s a bit of an old-school way of doing things, but it works for us and the people who buy from us. The dust from the road settles on everything, so we’re always wiping down the desks. We handle a lot of different steel orders, some small and some quite large. There isn't a lot of ceremony here. You come in, you see what we have, and we figure out the price. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we’re like a small family. We know the regulars and what they usually want before they even ask. Rakab Ganj is a lively place to work, even if it gets a bit chaotic during the festival seasons. We just keep our heads down and manage the stock. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to be here when someone needs steel for their project.
