You can find Mehi Travels at House Number 1944 in Sikandra, Agra. We’re tucked away in Sector 7 of the Awas Vikas Colony, quite close to Triveni Garden and the JP Hotel. I started this because I’ve always liked driving and knowing all the shortcuts around the city. It’s mostly about getting people from one place to another without too much trouble. Our office is just a part of the house, nothing fancy. I spend a lot of time checking the tires and making sure the engines are running okay. Agra traffic is no joke, especially near the monuments, so you have to have a lot of patience to do this job. Sometimes a car breaks down or a driver calls in sick, and then it’s a scramble to make sure the customer isn't left waiting on the curb. We aren't a big national agency with a call center. It’s just us answering the phone and writing down bookings in a ledger. We know the roads to the Hanuman Park and all the local spots around Sikandra like the back of our hand. It’s a lot of early mornings and late nights waiting for trains or flights to come in. The work is simple but it requires you to be reliable. If we say we’ll be there at five, we try our best to be there at five. It’s just a small family-run thing that keeps us moving.
