Chain Footwear

We run Chain Footwear over in the Billochpura area of Madiya Katra. It is a place where we make shoes, mostly. The workshop is always full of the smell of glue and rubber. We have wooden benches where the guys sit and put the different pieces together. It is not a high-tech factory by any means. Most of the work is done by hand or with some old-fashioned machines that have been in this room for years. We have racks of soles and uppers waiting to be joined together. The neighborhood is a bit industrial, so there is always some noise coming from the street. We do not have a big sign or a fancy front window to show off. It is just a doorway that leads straight into the workspace. Sometimes we have a lot of finished shoes piled up in the corner ready to be packed into cardboard boxes. We work through the orders as they come in. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from the morning until the evening. We have a small crew of workers who know exactly what they are doing. We have some old stools for when we need to take a quick breather. If you are looking for us, just head into Billochpura and ask someone. Most people can point you toward the footwear shop.
