Down here at Kheriya Mod on Jaganair Road, you’ll find Krshna Ganarl Stor. We spelled it that way on the sign and it just stuck. Being in Agra, especially this part of town, means we see a lot of people moving through every single day. It’s a small shop but we pack a lot into it. Dealing with the daily crowd keeps us on our toes. We don’t have any big corporate rules or anything. We just open up the shutters and start the day. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside and we have to clean the jars and packets a lot. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting boxes and checking what’s running low. Most of our day is spent chatting with neighbors who stop by for a few things. We carry the basic groceries and household items that everyone uses. Jaganair Road gets pretty crowded, so it’s a good spot to be if you’re looking for a quick stop. We’ve had the shop for a while and it’s basically our second home. It’s not a big supermarket, just a place where you can get what you need without a fuss. We manage everything ourselves, from the accounts to the cleaning. It keeps us busy and we like being part of the local scene here in Agra. Every day is a bit different depending on who walks through the door. We stay open late most nights to help out anyone who comes by at the last minute.
