Ajs India

We have been running Ajs India right here in Johari Bazar for quite a while now. It’s a crowded area, as anyone who has been to this part of the city knows. Every morning we open up the shutters and get things ready for the day. Sometimes the tea man comes by before we even have the lights on. It’s just us working here, keeping track of things and making sure everything is where it should be. The bazar is always noisy with people shouting and bikes zooming past, but you get used to it after a few years. We aren’t a big company with fancy offices, just a regular shop floor where we spend most of our hours. Some days are really quiet and we just sit and talk or reorganize the back shelves again. Other days, it feels like everyone in town is walking through the door at once. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just sell what we have and try to be fair with people who come in. It’s honest work. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't found the time yet. We know the other shopkeepers around here too, and we all just try to get through the week. If you are ever walking through Johari Bazar, you will find us tucked in among the other stalls and shops. We just keep at it.
