We are Jap Jee Footwere Pvt. Ltd. and our factory and office are located at No. 32/a/13-a. We are right near the Jyoti Dham Dharmshala and the Lal Masjid. This part of the city, near the Water Works Crossing on the Bye Pass Road, is where a lot of the footwear work happens. It’s a busy industrial area. There is always the sound of machinery or trucks loading up in the background. Our building is pretty plain. We have the manufacturing area on one side and a small office on the other. It gets very dusty because of the road nearby, so we are constantly cleaning the desks. We don't have any polished showrooms. Most of the people who come here are wholesalers or transporters. We focus on making shoes that last. The heat in the summer can be tough in the factory, but the workers are used to it. We’ve been here for several years now. We started small and just kept adding a few machines as we went along. It’s not a high-tech place, just a lot of manual work and checking the quality of the soles and the stitching. We usually close up late in the evening once the last shipment is loaded. It’s a lot of hard work and we don't have time for fancy talk. We just focus on the shoes and making sure the orders go out to the right places on time.
