Our place is at Plot No.6/180 in Jeoni Mandi. If you are looking for us, we are right near Mama & Company, which is a big name around here that everyone knows. Jeoni Mandi is always loud and crowded with trucks and carts, which is just the way a trading market should be. Haryana Trade Corporation isn't a fancy name, but it tells you what we do. We trade stuff, mostly tea, and we’ve been doing it from this same spot for quite some time now. The office is a bit old and the walls could use some paint, but it works for us. We spend our mornings on the phone or talking to drivers who bring in the goods. There is always a lot of dust in the air and people shouting to get things moved, but you get used to the chaos. It’s a practical place to be if you want to be in the middle of the action. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how the market works. Sometimes we sit outside on the plastic chairs when it gets too hot inside. We don’t do anything too complicated, just buying and selling and keeping track of the inventory. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset. That’s just life in Jeoni Mandi. We don't try to make it sound like anything more than it is.
