Gurukripa Ladies Corner

Gurukripa Ladies Corner is also sitting here in Chudi Market in Sultanpura, Agra Cantt. It is quite a small place, but we pack a lot into it. Mostly, we have things that women need, like bangles, hair clips, bindis, and different kinds of makeup. It is a very colorful shop because of all the different items hanging on the walls and stored in the glass counters. The market outside is always noisy with people talking and rickshaws going by. We have been in this spot for a long time. Sometimes it is hard to find a specific shade of lipstick or a matching set of bangles, but we do our best to help people look through the boxes. It’s not like those big malls where everything is under bright lights. Here, it is more about knowing what people like in the neighborhood. We sit here from morning till late, talking to the ladies who come in to pick up small things for a wedding or just for daily use. The Sultanpura area is known for these kinds of shops. We don't really have a big staff, just a couple of us managing the counter and the stock. It gets a bit hectic when a large group comes in at once, but we handle it. It is just a local spot for local people. It is just a small way to earn a living while being part of the Chudi Market community. We hope people keep coming to Sultanpura for these little things like we have here in Agra Cantt.
