G.K Ladies Corner

G.K Ladies Corner is a small shop located in the Rambag part of Trans Yamuna Colony in Agra. We mainly focus on things that women in the neighborhood need, like bangles, bindis, and other small items you might not find in a big grocery store. It is a tight space, but we have managed to fit a lot of things into the shelves over the years. Being in Rambag, we get a lot of foot traffic from people heading home or going to the market. The address is 282001, but locals just know us by the name G.K. It is not a place with air conditioning or big displays, just a counter and lots of small boxes. We spend our time dusting the glass cases and helping people find the right shade of whatever they are looking for. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but you get used to the sounds of Agra after a while. It’s a very local way of doing business. We don’t have a website or anything fancy; we just open the shutters and wait for the day to start. It’s a simple life, and the shop is a big part of it. We see the same faces every week, and that makes the work feel a bit more personal. It’s just a small corner for the ladies to pick up their essentials. We try to keep the prices fair and the stock fresh so people keep coming back.
