Day 2 Day

The shop is right here in Prakash Nagar on Shahganj Bodla Road. If you know the Sheetla Petrol Pump, you’ve probably seen us around. We’ve been at Shop No. 6/155 for a good while now. It’s a busy spot in Agra. Every morning starts the same way. We roll up the shutters and the dust from the road is already settling on the front step. People are always in a rush here. They stop by on their way to work or when they’re heading back home in the evening. We mostly keep things people need every day. It’s not a big fancy place, just a regular shop with stuff on the shelves. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise when it’s hot, but we’re used to it. The neighbors stop by to chat about the weather or how the traffic is getting worse on the road. We know most of the faces that walk through the door. It gets crowded in the small space when a few people come in at once. We just do our work and try to keep things organized, even if it gets a bit messy during the delivery days. There’s always boxes to move or something to clean. It’s just how it goes when you’re running a place like Day 2 Day. We stay open until late because people always forget something at the last minute. That's our life here in Shah Ganj.
