If you’re looking for Aggarwal Iron & Steel Company, we’re over on Plot 04 in Avadhpuri Bodla. It’s right on the Bichpuri Road in the Shahganj area. This place is usually a bit of a mess with iron rods and steel sheets lying around in piles. We started out small and stayed that way, mostly serving the local contractors who are building houses around Agra. You’ll hear the sound of the metal saw cutting through pipes if you come by in the afternoon. It’s a busy street, so getting a truck in and out of the plot can be a real headache sometimes. I’ve been working here for years, and the smell of raw metal and oil is just part of the day now. We don't have a showroom or anything fancy. It’s just a yard with a small office where we keep the ledger books. People come in asking for specific gauges of wire or TMT bars, and we dig through the stacks to find what they need. Sometimes we run out of stock and have to wait for the next delivery from the big mills, but that’s just how it goes. We try to be fair with people, and most of our regulars have been buying from us for a decade. It’s just a standard steel shop, nothing more. We just open up in the morning, do the loading, and go home when the sun sets.
