Rahul Garments

We are based over in B-7 Sector 10 and we’ve been making clothes here for a while. It’s mostly a workshop setup with sewing machines and tables for cutting fabric. It’s not a retail store where you can browse racks, it’s more about the actual production side of things. We have a group of tailors who are really good at what they do. They’ve been with us since we started. The floor is usually covered in scraps of cloth and thread, but that’s just how a garment place looks when it’s busy. We do all kinds of orders, some big and some small. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. People hear about us from other businesses in the sector. It gets pretty hot during the day with all the irons and machines running, but we have some big windows that let in a bit of a breeze. We focus on making sure the stitching is strong and the sizing is right. Sometimes we run into delays with getting the right fabric delivered, but we always try to make it work. It’s a hands-on job and we are here from early morning until the sun goes down. We just keep our heads down and get the bundles ready for shipping out. There isn't much glory in it, but it pays the bills and keeps the guys busy.
