Working at Plot No. 84/B + C in Vatva GIDC is pretty straightforward. Nidaan Chemicals is where we spend our days. The Phase-1 area is always crowded with trucks. Inside our gates, there’s always a lot of moving stuff around. We handle a lot of different drums and bags. It’s not a quiet job. The air smells like the industry around us. Some days are hotter than others, especially in the summer when the plant gets warm. We’ve been here for a while now. Most of the guys on the floor have been with us for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get the orders out on time. Sometimes the logistics in Vatva can be a bit of a headache with the traffic. We do our own thing and keep the equipment running. There’s always some maintenance to do on the tanks. Paperwork takes up a lot of time in the small cabin we call an office. We drink a lot of tea while going over the delivery notes. It’s a practical life. No fancy suits here, just boots and work clothes. We know the other business owners nearby. We help each other out if someone needs a tool or a bit of advice. It’s just how things work in this part of town. We just focus on the batches and shipping them out to the customers who need them.
