You can find us on Dhamangaon Road in Yavatmal. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there is always a bit of traffic noise coming through the windows. The school has been around for quite some time, and the walls could probably tell a lot of stories if they could talk. We have a lot of students, so the mornings are always a bit chaotic with everyone trying to get to their desks on time. The teachers here have a lot of experience, and they don't really bother with fancy teaching methods; they just stick to what works. We have a decent-sized yard where the kids gather for assembly. You can hear them reciting things in unison from the street. The office is usually the busiest place, with people coming in to pay fees or ask for certificates. We have rows of wooden desks that have been scratched and marked by years of students sitting at them. It’s not a perfect place, but it’s functional and it serves the people living around Yavatmal well. We deal with the usual problems like leaky taps or a broken fan every now and then. Life here is just about getting through the syllabus and making sure the exams are conducted fairly. We have a small shed in the back for the sports equipment, mostly cricket bats and some old footballs. It’s not much, but the kids make it work.
