Gurukul Cbsc School

Out here in Digras, Yavatmal, the school stands as a place for the local kids. It’s not a huge city, so everyone knows where we are. The building is straightforward, with rows of classrooms and a bit of space outside. We follow the usual routine of morning prayers and then straight into the books. The kids come in from all over the area, some walking and some on cycles. It’s a bit dusty because of the location, but we try to keep the floors swept. There’s a lot of talk about exams and homework every single day. We don't have a lot of extra stuff, just the classrooms and the basic materials. Sometimes we have events where parents come in, and then it gets really crowded in the main hall. The staff room is usually a mess of papers and tea cups. It is a very normal, local school experience. You won't find anything overly polished here. We just do the work of teaching and managing the day-to-day things that come up. Whether it’s fixing a fan or sorting out the playground, there is always something to do. The sun gets pretty strong in Yavatmal, so we value the shade of the trees we have on the grounds. It’s just a plain school for the people living nearby, and we try to make sure things run smoothly enough for everyone who comes through the doors.
