Raman Steel Traders

Raman Steel Traders is located at No. 964 Workshop Road. We are right near the Intuc Office, so most people find us pretty easily once they get onto this road. This part of town is pretty industrial, with lots of trucks and heavy stuff moving around all day. Our place isn't anything fancy to look at. It is basically a steel yard and a small office where we handle the daily trades. The phone rings a lot, and there is usually a layer of dust on everything because of all the construction and movement outside. We have been here for a while now. We don't have a big philosophy or anything like that. We just buy and sell steel and try to keep our numbers straight. Dealing with steel is heavy work, literally. We spend a lot of time checking weights and making sure the loading goes okay. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it rains and the yard gets muddy. But we keep moving. It is a family-run kind of vibe, where we all know what needs to be done without being told. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you will probably find us near the scales or at the old wooden desk in the corner. It is a practical life, working with metal and dealing with local builders and contractors who need supplies for their jobs.
