B.R.Fabrications

Our workshop, B.R.Fabrications, is located at Plot No. 1315 in the Modern Industrial Estate. If you know the area, it’s one of those big blocks where there’s always some kind of noise from machines. We do a lot of metal work here. There is usually dust on the floor and stacks of raw materials tucked into the corners. It’s not a clean place, but it’s where we cut, weld, and put things together. The guys usually start early because the afternoon heat in the industrial estate can get pretty bad. We’ve got some heavy equipment that takes up most of the space. Sometimes it’s hard to move around when a big order is being finished. We don't have a fancy front office or anyone to greet you at the door with a smile. You usually just find one of us covered in grease or soot. We make parts for other businesses mostly. It’s straightforward work that requires a bit of muscle and knowing how the machines behave. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend the whole morning fixing it ourselves instead of working on orders. That’s just how it goes in a place like this. We’ve been at this spot for years and the neighborhood has changed around us, but we’re still doing the same basic metal fabrication every day. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a specific weld that just isn't sitting right. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. It's a living.
