Blacksmith Co.

Blacksmith Co. sits in Village Khari Rangran, which is right across from Sushant City. It’s an interesting spot because you have the old village feel on one side and the new buildings on the other. Our workshop is usually full of the smell of metal and the sound of tools hitting something hard. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a practical space where things get made and repaired. The floor is concrete and usually covered in a bit of iron dust or scraps from a job we just finished. On hot days, the shed gets pretty warm, so we keep the big doors wide open to catch whatever breeze comes from the fields nearby. People from Sushant City sometimes walk over because they need something fixed that they can’t do themselves. We’ve got some old machinery that’s been with us since the start, and it still runs better than the new stuff. It’s heavy work, and our hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the shift. We aren’t trying to be some big factory, just a local blacksmith shop doing what needs to be done for the folks around here. Sometimes we just stand by the door and watch the cars go by on the main road. The sparks fly and we just get on with the next piece of iron that needs work.
