Shivalok Metal Industries

Over here at No. 10 in Shakti Nagar, things can get pretty loud during the day. Shivalok Metal Industries is located right in the middle of Yamuna Nagar, and if you know this area, you know it’s mostly about hard work and grit. We have the machines running from early on, and the sound of metal being worked on is just part of the background noise now. It’s a dusty place, and your hands are going to get dirty if you stay here for more than five minutes. We’ve got a small crew, mostly local guys who live just a few streets away. We don’t have a big fancy office with air conditioning; we just have a small desk tucked in the corner where we keep the ledger. The floor is concrete and has plenty of scratches from moving heavy parts around. On hot days, we leave the big shutters open to get a breeze, even though it brings in the noise from the street. We do things the way they’ve always been done, focusing on getting the orders ready on time. There’s no secret to it, just showing up and doing the labor. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend half the day fixing it ourselves. That’s just how it goes in a place like this. We appreciate the people who stop by and understand that we are just a small shop trying to do a decent job.
