Our place is located in Om Vihar Phase-5, right near Sri Ram Prop in Uttam Nagar. It is basically just a nursery and some farm space where we keep busy with plants and soil all day. Being at Plot No -2, Kh No 57/18 means we have a bit of room to move around, though it still feels crowded when new stock arrives. Vadakechirayath Nursery And Farms Private Limited is a long name for a place that is mostly about getting your hands dirty. We deal with a lot of different types of plants and trees. Some days it is just watering and making sure nothing is dying in the Delhi heat. Other days we are moving heavy pots and trying to organize the rows so people can actually walk through. It gets dusty out here in West Delhi. We aren't trying to be the biggest or anything, we just like seeing things grow properly. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate and we lose a few batches, which is frustrating, but that's just how farming works. We have been here for a while now. The neighbors know us. It is a simple setup without any shiny offices. We mostly sit outside or in the small shed when it rains. If you come by, don't expect a showroom. It’s just a working nursery with a lot of green stuff and a few people who know which end of the shovel to use and how to keep the bugs away.
