Dafds

So, we are located right inside the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. If you head over to the SN Hall of Residence, specifically room F 107, that is where Dafds is based. It is a bit of a unique spot, being on a campus like this in West Bengal. The atmosphere is very different from a standard city office. You hear the students outside and there is always something happening around the hall. Our room isn't very big, but it is where all the work for Dafds happens. We have the pin code 721302 memorized by heart now because of all the mail we get. It is a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't already on campus, but we like the quiet of the residence hall area. The walls are a bit thin, so you can hear the rain hitting the roof pretty loudly during monsoon season. We have our computers and our books and not much else. It is a simple setup for a simple team. Working within the Republic of India’s premier institute gives the place a certain feel, even if we are just in a small room. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk down the corridor and find F 107. It is honest work being done in a small space. We stay busy and try to make the most of the resources we have around us here in Kharagpur. It is just our little workspace in the hall.
