Uttam Clinical Lab

We run this lab on School Road in New Uttam Nagar. It’s a busy part of Delhi, especially when the schools are opening or closing. The lab is at B-118. We do all the regular blood tests and health checks people need. It’s a small space, but we have the machines tucked away in the back. The front is just a small counter and a few chairs. We open early so people can get their tests done before they head to work. It’s a routine for us. We see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood. The street can be a bit narrow and crowded with scooters. We’ve been here for years, so we know how the local water and weather affect people’s health. We aren't a big chain lab. It’s just us doing the work. We try to get the results out as fast as we can because we know people get anxious. The lighting inside is a bit bright, typical for a lab. It’s an honest living. We keep the equipment clean and wait for the next person to walk through the door. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important for the street. School Road is always a bit chaotic with parents and kids. The lab has that distinct smell of spirits and cleaning supplies. We’ve got a small fridge for the samples. It’s not a huge operation. It’s just me and a couple of assistants.
