Hari Sharnum Diagnostic Centre. We are located in North Central Delhi. Being in this part of the city means there is always a lot of movement outside our doors. Our space is kept very clean, which is different from the dusty streets. We have a waiting area with some rows of plastic chairs. It gets busy in the early mornings because that is when most people come for their tests before they go to work. You can hear the hum of the refrigerators where we keep the samples. We have a few small rooms for the check-ups and the equipment. It is a very routine kind of place. We wear white coats and spend a lot of time writing down numbers and names in our logs. The light inside is bright and fluorescent. Sometimes the traffic in Delhi makes it hard for people to get here on time, so we try to be patient with the schedule. We don't have much on the walls except for some calendars and basic notices. It isn't a place where people want to spend a lot of time, so we try to keep things moving. We have been operating in this neighborhood for a while and have seen it change quite a bit. Despite the noise of the city, inside our center, things stay orderly. We just focus on getting the reports done and making sure the files are organized in the cabinets.
