Timmu Gears

We are located in Khyala Sham Nagar. The exact spot is K 19 in Vishnu Garden. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of small workshops and family businesses. Timmu Gears is one of them. The shop is usually full of metal parts and the smell of oil. It’s the kind of place where your hands stay dirty most of the day no matter what. There are gears of all sizes sitting on the shelves and even on the floor in the corners. K 19 isn't hard to find if you are used to the layout of Vishnu Garden. The streets are narrow and there’s always something happening right outside. We open up early and stay until the work is finished. It’s a simple life. We don’t have any slick marketing or a big showroom with lights. It’s just the workshop and us. The sounds of metal clinking and machines running are constant through the day. Sometimes we have to shout a bit to be heard over the noise of the grinders. We’ve been in Sham Nagar long enough to know most of the people around here. The building itself is older, with a lot of character and some cracks in the walls. We have a small desk where we keep the papers, but mostly we are on our feet. It’s physical work. We take pride in just getting the gears right. It’s what we do every day. The afternoon sun makes the shop quite bright.
